3 JOHN
1 The elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth.2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.5 Beloved, it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers as they are, 6 who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God. 7 For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. 8 Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth. – 3 John 1-8

3 JOHN MAY ALL GO WELL WITH WORKERS FOR TRUTH

When you heard the gospel of salvation, you witnessed truth
Continue to believe and walk in the path that leads to good
Even though you are surrounded by many evildoers and deceivers
It is with thankfulness that we hold and stand on God’s promises
As you serve the Lord Jesus Christ, you will encounter persecutions
It is part of the journey of all those who will receive God’s salvation
Do not forget that fellow workers for truth are vessels used by God
They are ambassadors for Christ, treat them with respect and love.
Partner with those who continue to spread the gospel of truth
Bless them with all your support so they can reach their goals
Send them off with much love, grace and blessings as they press on
Pray for their health to be well as they travel on rough roads
Give them your love and understanding so they’ll be encouraged
Never turn your back on all those who ask help for the sake of the gospel
As agents of truth, we ought to be generous and supportive of their work
Without them, darkness, deceptions and lies will continue to go on.
