PSALM 128
Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
who walks in his ways!
2 You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed
who fears the LORD.
5 The LORD bless you from Zion!
May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life!
6 May you see your children’s children!

PSALM 128 BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO WALK IN GOD’S WAYS

When you serve the Lord, you will be blessed with bounty
There will be enough and more for yourself and your family
Blessed is everyone who walks in the ways of the Lord
They will be protected from the evil and chaos of this world
For each person who fears the Lord, blessings will flourish
They will be like a fruitful vine that gives yield to much harvest
There’ll be an overflow of offspring to the parents who serve God
Their love for the Lord will shine his light, his truth and his word
Blessed are all the humble and those who fear the Lord
For they will experience an overflow of spiritual growth
Discernment will thrive for all those who are righteous
For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
