PSALM 144
7 Stretch out your hand from on high;
rescue me and deliver me from the many waters,
from the hand of foreigners,8 whose mouths speak lies
and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9 I will sing a new song to you, O God;
upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to you,
10 who gives victory to kings,
who rescues David his servant from the cruel sword.
11 Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners,

PSALM 144 O LORD KEEP ME AWAY FROM DECEIVERS

We praise you Lord for you have been so faithful to your people
May we never forget to give you thanks and stay loyal to you always
Do not let liars and wicked people have their way with the saints
Will you Expose instantly whenever their evil schemes are at play?
Free us from the bondage to sin and keep us away from deceivers
Never let deceptions crawl into our lives; deliver us from evildoers
May our devotion be only to your Name, keep us strong to resist evil
Help us to dwell on your word and let us follow your laws always.
When we are surrounded by ungodliness, help us to be strong to endure
Make us steadfast and unwavering in our faith; let us always discern
Grant us eyes that see and ears that hear everything that goes around us
Surround us with your angels so we can be overcomers and victorious.
