PSALM 43 SEND OUT YOUR LIGHT AND YOUR TRUTH
Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause against an ungodly people,
from the deceitful and unjust man deliver me!
2 For you are the God in whom I take refuge; why have you rejected me?
Why do I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me;
let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!
4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy,
and I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.
5 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

My Lord, I praise and glorify your holy name
Defend me from all the evil that I encounter in this life
There is so much injustice and oppression going on in this world
Send out your light and your truth and lead us to your word
Without your guidance, my life will be a constant struggle
But with your wisdom, I will endure and win this battle.
Bring me to a place where I can have your presence always
I never want to be separated from you in anyway
Your light will be the guide towards your will
Help me never to go astray and go down the pit
Let me remember that you never abandon whom you love
When I get depressed, let me choose to focus on you, O Lord.
