For the next two years, Paul lived in Rome at his own expense. He welcomed all who visited him boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one tried to stop him. – Acts 28:30-31(NLT)
BOLDLY PROCLAIM AND TEACH THE GOSPEL
A poem and essay by ILMA
Do you have any occasions to tell about Jesus?
Go out and tell everyone the Good News
God wants you to spread the gospel everywhere
He wants you to be brave and boldly declare.
Whenever you proclaim his words and truth
You are planting seeds which will bear fruits
Do not be afraid for God will be with you always
He will equip you with his strength in many ways.

Some believers take God’s instructions seriously, but sadly, some don’t. I think it is very essential for a believer to recognize God’s spirit, especially when he is instructing and teaching us something. Oftentimes, we miss out on what he is convicting us with and we go on with our willful ways. The bible tells us to declare his glory among the nations in Psalm 96:3.
Paul did exactly as God instructed. He taught and preached about the Lord Jesus Christ with boldness and passion. He was driven to do all of this because the Spirit of God was in him. He was empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Kingdom of God wherever he was.
PRAYER
Lord, help me to boldly proclaim your kingdom when I get a chance to.
REFLECTION
When was the last time you proclaimed His word?

WORD STAYS FOREVER Poem Devotional

Heaven and earth will disappear but my words will never disappear.
– Matthew 24:35 (NLT)
WORD STAYS FOREVER
A poem and essay by ILMA
All things in this world pass
Our bodies grow old and sag
Our circumstances change
Our points of view range.
Heaven and earth will disappear
God’s word will still be here
If you abide in it, things will be clear
Nothing in this world will bring fear.
The only thing constant in this world is “change.” All physical matters go through change and deteriorate eventually. The book of Ecclesiastes likened our life to a mist. It disappears like it. All the things we work for which we possess can end in an instant. Beauty is momentary. A person grows old and as he or she does, youth is gone and beauty fades away. All the things we cling to are sometimes gone before we know it.
The bible says that heaven and earth will pass away, but the word of God will never disappear. God identifies himself with his word. Scripture is eternal like him. He created the world and mankind using the ”word.” He made everything by breathing “word” to bring it to life. Do we use the “word” to breath with?
PRAYER
Lord, thank you for your word.
REFLECTION
How often do you use God’s word to bring wisdom into your life? What has the word of God taught you lately?

GOD’S ASSURANCE Poem Devotional

He has commissioned us and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us. – 2 Corinthians 1:21-22(NLT)
GOD’S ASSURANCE
A poem and essay by ILMA
Have you experienced the holy presence of God?
He is in your heart as you accept him and give laud
His first installment of his promises is to place the Holy Spirit
He has put him there so you won’t be lost or drift.
He guarantees you a life full of blessings and hope
He will grant you victory and not just cope
Listen carefully to his Spirit inside you
He will ensure that your mind is renewed.
When you are in a relationship, what do you expect most from these people you relate with? Commitment and trust play highest in rank when it comes to relationship needs and expectations. When trust and commitment issues are breached, many relationships fail and fall out.
The bible tells us that God is a very assuring God. He guarantees everything he promises. He anoints us with his own Spirit by placing his own Spirit inside our hearts. What an awesome thing the cross did for all of us. It has allowed Jesus to be inside all believers and live in their hearts.
PRAYER
Help me not to grieve your Spirit, Lord.
REFLECTION
Why should we never take the Holy Spirit for granted?
