We are all instructed to spread the Good News
Do you realize that you are part of his crew?
We must speak as messengers of the Most High
Our purpose is to bring the gospel and spread his light.
The Lord watches over his faithful believers
Rest assured that he knows each of his follower
Preach the good news all over the world
Evangelize to all by using his word.

A messenger is a person who carries a message or is employed to carry messages. Before the boom of social media, the mailman is usually the bringer of letters and correspondences. They played a very vital role in small towns. Now, the messages we get are mostly through social media like cell phones, facebook, gmail, twitter, and many more.
The bible instructs us to be messengers approved by God and he entrusts us with the Good News that Christ died to save us from sins. Are you doing your commission to spread the gospel to all the ends of the earth? Isn’t it a privilege to be part of his camp? Be bold and spread to everyone how much God loves us.

Lord, help me to be able to carry your Good News to many people.

USE ENERGY WISELY

Do you manage your energy wisely?
What kind of things do you do regularly?
Find time to put God first in your activities
If you do, you’ll get his blessings easily.
God gave Jesus his seal of approval
Let’s seek him daily because it is crucial
Use your energy to spread God’s kingdom
It will make you free and receive his wisdom.

If I don’t plan ahead of time, my day becomes so distracted and unproductive. When I don’t prioritize spending time with God first thing in the morning, I get depleted even just in the middle of the day. Despite my busy schedules, I do my best to pray and have quality moment studying Scriptures. I ask the Lord to help me do my schedule so that I will not be doing things out of his will. I usually am able to finish all the planned activities and I don’t get to feel so tired at the end of the day. On odd occasions when I get interrupted with regular schedule and I fail to pray and study the bible, the enemy gets an open door to steal my joy, time and energy with subtle distractions.

Lord, guard me from doing things for my own purpose.

SEEKING GOD’S APPROVAL Poem Devotional

Do you find yourself fixated on pleasing someone?
Do you try to search for happiness from everyone?
Do you consult God for every little plan you make?
Do you just do things for your own sake?
May the Lord show you his approval and consent
In all you do, seek his guidance and his presence
Whenever you confer with him, he gives you insight
If you ask in faith, you will bring him joy and delight.
I was raised to be very independent and was surrounded by people who were self-reliant. Identifying and discussing problems and issues in our families were taboo. The authorities in my life made it a point that all issues are dismissed and never talked about. I grew up making my own decisions without consulting anyone and I took pride in doing so. Each time I make the right one, I pat myself on the back for it, as if it was an achievement.
The bible tells us to align all our plans, choices and decisions with God. We will be blessed and anointed if we seek God’s consent rather than other people’s viewpoint. When we seek God first, he will grant our efforts and make it successful.
PRAYER
Lord, help me to seek your counsel always.
