PSALM 25 BRING ME OUT OF MY DISTRESS LORD!
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged;
bring me out of my distresses.
18 Consider my affliction and my trouble,
and forgive all my sins.
19 Consider how many are my foes,
and with what violent hatred they hate me.
20 Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me!
Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me,
for I wait for you.
22 Redeem Israel, O God,
out of all his troubles. – Psalm 25:16-22

MAY INTEGRITY & UPRIGHTNESS PRESERVE ME by ILMA
Lord, I come to you so you can attend to my loneliness
I am distressed with much troubles and discouragement
Look into my condition and forgive all my transgressions
I have been weak and given in to so much distractions
Guard my soul for the enemy attacks me constantly
He weaves tactics to distract and derail me day and night
Let me not be put to shame, for I run to you for safety
May your protection keep me strong to hold on to integrity
May I never forget all that you have done to keep me free
Deliver me from all those who plot evil and wicked devices
Let their schemes bounce back to the them; protect your people
Let me never be swayed and seduced by this world’s corruption
Show me how to always follow your Spirit’s lead in sanctification.

PSALM 25 GOOD AND UPRIGHT IS THE LORD

PSALM 25 GOOD AND UPRIGHT IS THE LORD
8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
9 He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For your name’s sake, O LORD,
pardon my guilt, for it is great.
12 Who is the man who fears the LORD?
Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.
13 His soul shall abide in well-being,
and his offspring shall inherit the land.
14 The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him,
and he makes known to them his covenant.
15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD,
for he will pluck my feet out of the net.– Psalm 25:8-15

THOSE WHO FEAR HIM ARE THE LORD’S FRIEND by ILMA
The Lord is steadfast in his love and in his goodness
He keeps his promises to those who follow righteousness
He guides those who are humble but leaves the proud on their own
He teaches those who fear him in the way they should go
The righteous and godly constantly abide in him
They do not feed their lusts and desires which lead to sin
Instead, they listen and depend on the Spirit of the Lord
They do not follow or conform with the systems of this world
The friendship of the Lord is only for those who fear him
The Lord doesn’t tolerate sin but outrightly confronts it
Those who continue in their haughtiness will be cut off
For the Lord hates evil and God’s wrath awaits them all.

PSALM 25 MAKE ME KNOW YOUR WAYS
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
3 Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
4 Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
6 Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O LORD! – Psalm 25:1-7

TEACH ME YOUR PATH O LORD by ILMA
O my Lord, I bring to you my whole heart, mind and body
I trust that you will not allow me to live in compromises
Let me not be overcome by all the schemes of the devil
You are faithful to protect your people from all kinds of evil
All those who believe in you look forward to your promises
Guide me so that I will know your ways so I can follow it
Without your lead, I will not be able to navigate this world
Change my mind and make it like yours; help me follow your word
Show me how to examine my own heart so I can align it with yours
Give me courage to say no to my flesh and keep my mind renewed
Because you are steadfast in your love, give me grace, my Lord
Do not focus on my past sins or my tendencies to follow the world.
