Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me. – John 20:27,29 (NLT)
BELIEVE EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T SEE
A poem and essay by ILMA
Do you have a hard time believing when you don’t see?
Worrying and anxiety doesn’t allow you to be free
Faith is having the confidence that what you hope for will transpire
It is believing despite not knowing how to get what you aspire.
Don’t be faithless any longer, believe and you will be blessed
Trust Jesus and you will find peace, joy and rest
It is when you don’t see that he brings you a miracle
Continue to be faithful and he will remove obstacles.

There are three different ways people learn according to Neil Fleming. Most people are a combination of visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners. About 65% of people are mainly visual learners, in that they easily pick up information with their eyes. Visual learners often associate the things they learn with the images they saw when they first learned the material. So, don’t feel bad if you are like Thomas who doubted that Jesus has resurrected. According an author of a book I read on grieving, we need a little doubt to grow our faith.
God grew my faith when I bargained with him in the past. He showed me that he knows what is best for me because my vision was limited.
PRAYER
Lord, let my heart see where my eyes cannot.
REFLECTION
Share a faith experience that grew your belief in God.

I entered this world to render judgment-to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind. – John 9:39 (NLT)
GIVING SIGHT TO THE BLIND
A poem and essay by ILMA
Jesus came to give sight to the blind
He wants to restore their hearts and minds
He is the only one who can bring life
He alone can make them win their fight.
The Lord will bring judgment to all
This is why he doesn’t want us to fall
Sin can make us confused and wallow in evil
Christ came so we can overcome the devil.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden, they started feeling shame and confusion. That is what sin normally brings about in our lives. The enemy tempt us and sows lies in our minds, which later on penetrates in our hearts if we constantly do it and not confess and repent the sin, it builds up to more sins. This is why the bible always tells us to guard our hearts. An unguarded heart is an entry point to the enemy. A heart that seeks God will be much harder for the enemy to penetrate. King David was known as the man who seizes God’s heart. Jesus Christ came to give judgment, to bring back sight to those who are blind and show those who think that they see that they are blind.
PRAYER
Lord, thank you for saving the whole mankind.
REFLECTION
How has the enemy blinded you? What lies did he let you believe for so long?
